Will sonarqube support managed identity auth with Azure platform

Currently sonarqube support set a PAT(personal access token) from azure dev ops for integration. Inner my company, PAT is limited to set a long expiration date, it’s not so convenient to use PAT anymore, is there any plan to enable auth in other ways like ManagedIdentity?

We agree it eventually makes sense to move away from PATs, but it’s not in our short-term roadmap.

Azure DevOps PAT goes invalid for no reason

At the moment there are no concrete plans for moving away from personal access tokens to OAuth using Service Applications. We do agree that makes sense though, and we hope to make the change at some point. Are you using a technical account to generate the access tokens, and is that the reason why the account is not being logged into frequently?
