I am on SonarQube * Community Edition * Version 7.6 (build 21501)
I want to upgrade to Developer Edition. Can you please advise which version should i go on Developer Edition and what documentation i can follow.

Your version is past EOL. You should upgrade to either the latest version or the current LTS at your earliest convenience. Your upgrade path is:
7.6 → 8.9.10 → 9.9.1 → 10.1 (last step optional)
