Upgrade Path Confirmation – Enterprise Edition 10.1 & Community Edition 10.3 to 2025 LTA

Hello,

We are planning to upgrade our SonarQube instances and would like to confirm our upgrade path. We currently have two instances:

• Enterprise Edition – Version 10.1

• Community Edition – Version 10.3

Based on the upgrade path table on the official documentation, it seems that we can upgrade Enterprise Edition 10.1 directly to 2025 LTA. However, we want to double-check if this is indeed possible and if there are any specific things we should be aware of during the process.

Are there any known issues or additional steps we should take into account before proceeding with the upgrade?

You might like this little upgrade calculator I built.

And please note that there is no longer an LTA version for Community Edition (now Community Build). You’ll just need to target the latest version.

Super calculator! This is something I was talking about with a colleague—we thought something like this would be really useful. For now, we will be upgrading Enterprise anyway. Thanks!
