Unable to send email from SonarQube - Test connection is failed

Hi all,

I have configured email to send notification after analyze the project but I couldn’t make a test connection successfully.

Also I turned on the “Less secure app access” on my google account. (I tried with normal password login and two step verification)

Here I have attached the configurations which I have done.
And I tried starttls with 587 port and also ssl with 465 port

Help me to sort out this issue. Thanks in Advance!

Hi,

You seem to be trying to use your personal GMail account as the SonarQube sender? That won’t work. You need an email server.

Hi,

Thank you for the reply. Actually it’s working now. I made 2 step authentication for that mail account and generated separate password for SonarQube.
