STIG ASD V6 filter shows 0 results despite sidebar issue count

STIG ASD V6 issue category shows 4 issues in sidebar but 0 issues in results

Hello,

I noticed an inconsistency on the project Issues page when filtering by a STIG ASD V6 category.

Error observed

On the project Issues page, selecting a STIG ASD V6 category that shows issues in the left sidebar returns no issues in the main panel.

Selected category:

STIG ASD V6
V-222642 - The application mu... 4

Observed result:

0 issues 0 effort

We couldn't find any results matching selected criteria.
Try to change filters to get some results.

Expected result:

The issue list should display the 4 issues indicated by the selected STIG ASD V6 category.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open the project Issues page.
  2. In the left sidebar, expand STIG ASD V6.
  3. Select V-222642 - The application mu..., which shows 4 issues.
  4. Observe that the main issues panel shows 0 issues.

Potential workaround

No confirmed workaround yet.

Hi,

Thanks for the screenshot. If you were using SonarQube on-prem, Iā€™d tell you to force an Elasticsearch reindex. But you canā€™t exactly do that on SonarQube Cloud. :sweat_smile:

So instead, Iā€™ve flagged this for folks who have better access than I do.

Does the issue still persist, e.g. after running a next analysis?
Indeed, as Ann mentioned, it looks like an indexing issue - it seems that the issues donā€™t exist anymore, and the facet hasnā€™t been refreshed.

If the issue still persists, Iā€™ll ask you for the project & org details in a private message, to investigate further.
