SSO AzureDevOps to SonarQube with an experience similar to sonarcloud

Hi, We have SonarQube integrated with Azure AD using SAML based authentication. In current experience when we enter SonarQube URL, it takes us to the SAML authentication page, where we click on Login using SAML

To have a better experience as we have with SonarCloud, where we can directly log in without having a login to SAML page in between.

Also as soon as we logout from Any azure site, we should be logged out of Sonar as well.

Please suggest how this can be achieved with SonarQube as well

As per my knowledge, Sonarqube doesn’t provide these features. I recommend you to try out the miniOrange SAML Premium Plugin for SonarQube. It is for sure easy to set up, and will fulfill all your requirements.

This plugin works well in the proxy environment and also has a lot of additional features like:

  • Auto Redirect to IDP
  • Single Logout
  • User profile Provisioning
  • On the fly Group Mapping
  • Signed SAML request to provide an additional layer of security.
  • Test Configuration, using which you can verify your SAML configurations and validate the SAML response.

It’s also worth noting that SonarQube 9.7, due today, vastly improves SAML setup and includes a significant docs expansion.
