When configuring conditions via API we noticed that for new code we can use new_maintainability_rating, but for overall we tried using maintainability_rating but that didn’t work. We had to use: sqale_rating. Are there any plans to use maintainability_rating instead of sqale_rating? We are scripting the configuration and need to be consisten and document.

We don’t have plans to rename that metric key. Doing so simply isn’t worth it. As you’re aware, it’s not public-facing and we have updated the associated metric name.
