Sonarscan action taking longer time while downloading dependencies and plugins

We are using sonarqube version 9.9.1. Some users at our organization (American Airlines) reported sonaraction is taking around 5 to 10 mins to download dependencies and plugins which is longer tan expected. Up on doing some research we found a post
“The SonarScanners download only required 3rd-party plugins”

So question is, does version 10.4 offer any option to set language parameter so non-related languages are not downloaded while running sonar scan.

Hi,

there are no language specific settings, but this setting has to be activated (default off)
Administration > General > Performance > Analyzers loading optimization

We dont see an option “Performance” under general on sonarqube version 9.9.1.69595. Can you please suggest
