Dear VS Code community,
SonarQube for IDE: VSCode v4.16 is now available!
This latest version includes updates to many analyzers, such as SonarText, Infrastructure-as-Code, PHP and Java. Most importantly:
-
the C++ analyzer brings 1 new rule S7172: avoid boolean conversion on std::optional.
-
The JS/TS analyzer now supports ESLint directives for rules that have an equivalent community name. See more information here.
-
The C# analyzer is removing rule S1197 from the SonarWay quality profile and adding secondary location messages for multiple rules.
-
The Go analyzer supports Go 1.23 and stops reporting parsing errors by default. For more details, see Go analyzer release notes.
Finally, files with .razor.cs extensions are now excluded from the analysis.
You can find the full SonarQube for IDE: VSCode release notes here.
Thank you for your continued support!
