Hello Visual Studio community,
The SonarQube for IDE: Visual Studio version 8.12 is now available!
This latest version includes analyzers updates including:
- the C++ analyzer brings 1 new rule S7172: avoid boolean conversion on std::optional.
- The C# analyzer is removing rule S1197 from the SonarWay quality profile and adding secondary location messages for multiple rules.
Additionally, you can now add SonarQube for Visual Studio to the top level menu in Visual studio by clicking on Extensions → Customize Menu → Extensions Menu. This allows you to be one click away from your favorite extension.
