SonarQube Cloud SSO on a new Org in the enterprise

We are using SonarQube cloud with SSO, This is working fine for the Organisation we upgraded to Enterprise. Users are sync’ing with no issues. We can user groups in our AD and they are working well for permissions.

We have created a 2nd (and 3rd) organisation and added it to the enterprise account so I now see the Orgs in our enterprise.

How do I get the SSO synchronised accounts into the new Orgs so I can allocate the permissions to the User groups we have.

In each organization you need to create groups with names that match the AD group names. Then permissions should propagate into your new organizations.

Hi Antony,

Normally the group synchronization for a user should happen automatically when a given user logs in to SonarQube Cloud.

I have two questions to help trouble shoot the issue?

  • Did the users who should be added to the two additional organizations log in to SonarQube Cloud after those organizations were added to your enterprise?
  • Are the two additional organizations added to your enterprise part of the enterprise plan?
