SonarQube version - 10.2.1, Scanner version - 4.2.0, Sonar-Crowd Plugin 2.2.0
SonarQube is deployed using zip file.
I have recently upgraded crowd from 5.2.0 to 6.1.1. After upgrade the authentication is not working.
Upon checking the Sonar log, I found the following error.
sonar.server.authentication.CredentailExternalAuthentication : Unsatisfied dependency
SonarException: Security realm fails to start the application is not permitted to perfom the request operation on the crowd server.
Could you please check and let us know the next steps to fix this issue?
The sonar-crowd plugin repository was archived in 2021, and it’s unlikely to be compatible with SonarQube versions above 8.9. Unfortunately, it seems that finding support for this plugin here might be difficult.
Thanks for providing the information. Could you please suggest how I can achieve SSO in SonarQube 10.2.1 if Crowd is not an option? Can I use LDAP? If so, could you please suggest how to integrate it and what the process is?
