Yes, this happens in any project. I followed a friend’s tip and downgraded the plugin version and due to that, it worked again. I would need to reinstall the current version to be able to get the plugin log.
I followed the instructions from SonarSource support and upgraded the plugin again to version 10.8.1.79205 and surprisingly it started working again!!
