I am pleased to announce this new version of SonarLint for Visual Studio Code.
Here are a few highlights:
- Users can now receive notifications in the IDE for some events related to their SonarQube and SonarCloud projects (new issues added to a project, changes in the Quality Gate status)
- A progress bar is now displayed during the update of SonarQube/SonarCloud bindings
- Many new rules related to cryptography in JavaScript and TypeScript
- Support PHP 8.0
- New rules for regular expressions in Java
