Dear IntelliJ users,
I’m happy to announce a new 10.6 version of SonarLint for IntelliJ!
As you probably know CLion Nova has been fully merged with CLion Classic. You can now switch to CLion Nova directly in the IDE. We took this opportunity to add support for CLion Nova with the Resharper C++ language engine for SonarLint.
We also improved the sharing Connected Mode setup for C# projects between Visual Studio and Rider IDEs. Learn more about how to share configurations between IDEs here.
To enforce security connection in the IDE as well as on SonarCloud and SonarQube, we are deprecating the authentication with login/password for the Connected Mode. We highly recommend using token authentication instead.
Last but not least, here are some Analysis capacity updates:
- On Python, we added 5 rules which mainly focus on the machine learning library Scikit-Learn.
- For C# developers we added 7 new rules.
You can find the release notes here.
Thank you for your continued support!
Alexander
