Sonarlint for Eclipse 4.1.0 !?

Hi,

we use Sonatype Nexus also as proxy for several Eclipse update sites.
Noticed last week, that https://binaries.sonarsource.com/SonarLint-for-Eclipse/releases/
already has SLE 4.1.0 , but Sonarsoure Jira still has status unreleased, the Sonarlint site has still 4.0.0 and there’s also no official announcement in the community forum.
Also, if i remember correctly there has been also no announcement for SLE 4.0.0 in this forum.
Is SLE 4.10 ready to use !?

Hi Gilbert,

Release was done technically, then it can take a few days to update the communication material (update websites, blogs, …). For the JIRA version, there are pros and cons to mark it as released at the same time as the technical release (we had people asking why it was marked as released in JIRA, but not visible in the SonarLint website). So currently our process is to mark the JIRA version as released when everything is done.

Hi Julien,
no problem with that, but it’s confusing, when the new version is not officially released, but already available on the Eclipse update site for several days now. Got some questions from our developers.
