I am using SonarQube and I am trying to clear Security Hotspots. Admin has given me permissions to do this but it still will not allow me to accomplish this. Need help on what to do or if anyone else is having this same problem?

You may need to reload. IIRC, your permissions are downloaded as part of a bundle when you first log in & not rechecked for that session.
If that doesn’t help, could you share some screenshots of what you’re (not) seeing?
