Security Hotspots in Rider

Hi Marco,

I’m using Rider and SonarLint 8.3.0.71062 with SonarQube Enterprise Edition Version 9.9.1 (build 69595). I cannot see the Security Hotspots in the IDE. I did try Visual Studio. No luck.

It’s C# solutions. Are there any limitations for C#?

Sorry for the late response.

Security Hotspots are not supported yet in Visual Studio, but we are working on it at the moment.

I just checked and Security Hotspots are reported in C# in Rider on my side. Did you bind your solution to SonarQube? Could you check if the rule that you are expecting to be raised is part of the Quality Profile assigned to your project on SonarQube?
