Is it possible to write rules that have multiple scopes, e.g. both xml and java at the same time? It would really make sense for performing android-specific analysis.

In the Java analyzer/custom Java rules context, I don’t think this has ever been done, and I doubt it is possible to cleanly do it. The only way I see it would be to manually search for the XML file in the filesystem, in a Java rule. This sounds hacky though…
