Rules Doesn't Reflect in PR Analysis (typescript:S3317, javascript:S3317)

Versions Used: 8.4 Developer Edition
Error Observed: No error

Steps to Reproduce:

  • Create a new js or typescript class which violate rule, typescript:S3317 or javascript:S3317
  • Run the PR analysis (Noted that no issue been flagged out here)
  • Merge PR into Main Branch
  • Main Branch Analysis failed with quality gate which violated rule, typescript:S3317 or javascript:S3317

Hi,

SonarQube 8.4 has a little age on it at this point. Could you upgrade to 8.8 and see if you can reproduce the issue?
