Regarding the Incorrect results In SonarQube Rules

Hi Team,
I need help with the below issue.

SonarQube Version 5.6.3

The private method " getAlarmType()" is used at many places in the code but the SCA results show that the method is not used anywhere in the code and it needs to be removed as it is considering as dead code.

Below is the snapshot of the SCA results showing the incorrect results.

How to fix this particular rule instead of taking exception for this.

Please Help here to resolve this issue.

Welcome to the community!

SonarQube 5.6.3 is very, very old at this point. You’re not going to find many people who still can help you. You need to upgrade immediately. Your upgrade path is:

5.6.3 → 6.7.7 → 7.9.4 (current LTS) → 8.4.2 (this last step is optional)

If your problem persists after upgrade, please come back to us.
