Refresh of Issue Count after new quality profile activation

Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on what you’re after) issues are not updated when Quality Profiles are updated.

Why is rule S2077 reported two different ways?

Hi, I’m assuming from the fact that you’re seeing this that you’ve been using SonarQube a while. Just like the SonarQube UX has evolved over time, the rules have as well. We add rules frequently, occasionally deprecate some, and often re-evaluate rules. That means that multiple rules have changed not just severity but also type over the years. So I want to know if there is a easy way to pull out comparison on issue count on rule basis based on changes in rule definition. I hope I am bit clear now.

Perhaps you can give some more details about what you’d use this report for, to see if there are any other options.
