Questions Regarding SonarQube Developer Edition 10.7 – PDF Report & Project Data

Hi Support Team ,

I have a couple of questions regarding SonarQube Developer Edition version 10.7:

  1. Does this version support exporting reports in PDF format? If so, could you please guide us on how to do that?
  2. If a project’s data was accidentally deleted, is there any way to recover the project and its data?

We would appreciate your assistance with these questions.

Hi,

Your version is past EOL. You should update to either the latest version or the current LTA (long-term active version) at your earliest convenience. Your update path is:

10.7 → 2025.1.3-> 2025.4 (last step optional)

Regarding your questions, PDFs start in Enterprise Edition($$). And deleted projects are deleted from the database. Thus they can only be recovered by restoring a previous DB backup.

Could you please provide a sample PDF report?
Our customer would like to see how the issue reporting section is presented in the PDF format.

According: Downloading a PDF copy

You can download a PDF copy of your security reports by clicking Download as PDF in the upper-right corner of the Security reports page.

The PDF contains:

  • The number of open Security Vulnerabilities (in Standard Experience) or Security issues (in MQR Mode) and the security rating on both overall code and new code.

  • The number of Security Hotspots, the percentage of reviewed Security Hotspots, and the security review rating on both overall and new code.

  • Your Sonar, OWASP, CWE reports.
