Quality Gate fails due to "new code" Reliability score; but the code is actually older than the set 30 days

  • CI system used: GitLab
  • Languages of the repository: C++

The SonarCloud is set to use the New Code (set to 30 days) requirement for the Quality Gate; however, it now seems to have failed the build based on older code under analysis.
To be clear: old code seems to be erroneously treated as code written in the last 30 days.

Rules violated: cpp:S836, cpp:S867, cpp:S5359

Last known successful build: December 15, 2020 @ 08:01 UTC
First observed failed build: December 15, 2020 @ 15:49 UTC

Is there any reason that code older than 30 days is being used for the Quality Gate evaluation?

Hello @Daniel_Di_Nardo and welcome to our Community!

Could you please tell us the analysis id for a failed build (and also for a successful as well)?
