Quality Gate and Issue Categories out of Sync

Should we be updating the quality gate to reflect the new levels of issue severity ? Currently we have:

With the new severity levels introduced at 10.2 does it mean that we can only fail on New Issues if a repo has Blockers as Criticals and Majors no longer exist ?

If there was a ‘translation’ occuring such that Mediums show as Majors and vice versa then the gate should fail but it doesn’t

Hi,

Yes, once you switch modes, you’ll need to catch your Quality Gate conditions up.

Since a subsequent evolution after 10.2 restored us to 5 severity levels it should be pretty much 1-to-1, but you’ll want to update your conditions.
