Hi, we have recently updated to SonarQube Enterprise v10.2. In the past, we are able to decide what is the number that we want for Blocker, Critical, Major, Minor or Info Issues. However in v10.2, we are no longer allowed to do that for High, Medium or Low Issues. This is an important feature for us to use. Can you please advise on how we can do that in the new version?
Hi @HSNG,
You should be able to set the condition of gates. On self managed server, you should had the permission and Unlock editing of the quality gates.
Hi, I am able to set the condition of gates, but SonarQube do not have the options for High Issue, Medium Issue or Low Issues count. The options for Blocker Issue, Critical Issue, Major Issue, Medium Issue and Info Issues are still there.
Hi,
Itâs not clear to me why you would choose to upgrade to 10.2 when itâs no longer supported and 10.6 is the Latest/current version.
That said, even in 10.6, you canât set conditions on the new severities. I believe the thinking is that you should set them on ratings instead (which map to the severities).
HTH,
Ann
Hi @Bachri_Abdel ,
Thank you for your question. We are exploring adding the ability to create quality gate conditions based upon 'count of issues for a particular quality (security/reliability/maintainability) + severity (high/medium/low) at the moment. We donât have a firm decision on this just yet.
Hey @HSNG
If you havenât already seen, we are undeprecating the âoldâ severities, and restoring the ability to customize severity. You can read more here:
