Pull Request scan does not detect properties file

Must-share information (formatted with Markdown):

  • which versions are you using: SonarQube server 8.4.1, SonarScanner 4.8.1.3023
  • how is SonarQube deployed: Docker
  • I am trying to scan Pull Request, but Scanner is not finding properties file
  • I have file stored in .sonarqube folder in repo, but since it does not work I also tried to load file during script execution into app folder. We can see file when calling full tree

Log file is too large to paste it here, so I am attaching it

Hi,

Your version is past EOL. You should upgrade to either the latest version or the current LTA (long-term active version) at your earliest convenience. Your upgrade path is:

8.4.1 → 8.9.10 → 9.9.6 → 10.6 (last step optional)

Hey Colin
Thank you for reply, I will try to get Sonar updated, though it will take some time.
In meantime, can we consider, that version is not an issue?
In the same repository we have another workflow, that is running full scan and this workflow is able to locate properties file. Can this be something Incremental analysis used for Pull Request?

Hey there.

SonarQube v8.4 was released almost 4 years ago, and hasn’t been a supported version since 4 years minus two months.

I really suggest that you upgrade, and then return to the issue.
