Problems connecting ALM Integration to Bitbucket Server

Must-share information:

  • SonarQube Version: 8.6.1.40680, BitBucket v7.2.3 (Both local installations)
  • Trying to connect Sonarqube to Bitbucket using the ALM Integration
    Tried so far:
  • Configured according to documentation → “Check configuration”: “Unable to contact Bitbucket server”
  • Checked connection to BitBucket Server:
    • Curl checks out fine (200)
    • Using a proxy inbetween: “Check configuration” connection to proxy works (tunnel/200)
    • No entries coming up in bitbucket access log for “Check configuration”, with or without proxy
  • firewall shows connection from sonar to bitbucket, but tcp gets reset by client - assumption: Problem with SSL handshake
  • specifically added BitBucket Server’s certificate to java trust-store (no change)
  • tried turning on debug logging - no entries concerning any of this

Hi everyone, this is my first post, so if anything is missing, please ask and I will try and provide it. No logs for now, since keeping watch over them in debug mode during testing didn’t show any entries - they just show the server starting and stop. Other actions will show up in log (logging in for example) but the ALM-Integration doesn’t seem to write to log.

Your version is past EOL. You should upgrade to either the latest version or the current LTS at your earliest convenience. Your upgrade path is:

8.6.1 → 8.9.3 → 9.1 (last step optional)
