Please remove the action from the marketplace

There’s no need to list an action on the marketplace unless you’re:

  • Supporting it
  • Looking for more consumers

Anyone can use any public github.com repository as an action source regardless of whether it is published to the marketplace.

As this action is effectively deprecated:

:warning: Warning

This action is deprecated and will be removed in a future release. Please use the sonarqube-scan-action action instead. The sonarqube-scan-action is a drop-in replacement for this action.

There’s no reason to continue advertising a deprecated action.

Also, why was the action deprecated to begin with if the new one is - I quote the documentation - a “drop-in replacement”?

If both actions are interchangeable, what is the point of the second one?

Thanks for the feedback. I’ve flagged this for attention.

@Philippe_Formulain Instead of supporting a separate action for SonarQube Server and SonarQube Cloud, we want to support a single action. All future development will happen on GitHub - SonarSource/sonarqube-scan-action
