Not authorized to access sonarqube using gitlab credential

Hi, I follow this document to delegate authentication to gitlab.

I browse to server:9000 and enter my gitlab credential, below error screen is shown.

You’re not authorized to access this page. Please contact the administrator.
Reason: ‘gitlab’ users are not allowed to sign up

  • GitLab Community Edition 13.6.3

Hi,

That’s about this setting, which you’ll find with the ALM integration settings:
Selection_999(376)

Your GitLab account isn’t already recognized by SonarQube, and you’re not being allowed to “sign up”.

I just want to log in with gitlab credential and not sign up. Anyway I can log in to sonarqube after setting it to true. Thanks!
