New code feature is not working as expected

Must-share information (formatted with Markdown):

  • Sonarqube 8.9.2
  • New code settings for the project is master branch (Specific analysis)
  • We have tried with the new project but it is displaying the files that has no changes from the master branch.

We have changed only 2 files in the feature branch. But we can see more files after the scan.

We are not able to find the new code that is being added and the coverage details for the same.

Welcome to the community!

It’'s normal to see all project files in a branch. Depending on the branch’s New Code Period setting, you may see only files changed since the branch point marked as new. If you want to see only the new files, then what you’re looking for is PR analysis.
