It just a question to the Sonar community and Sonar itself. It’s 2024 and we are wondering if that would be possible to move to the SonarCloud instead? Any enterprise customer that has experience with SonarCloud? We have around 350 projects and ± 5 mil lines of code as for now, but still growing.

While it’s possible to export your custom Quality Profiles from SonarQube and import them into SonarCloud, you’ll need to re-create your Quality Gates by hand, and you will lose all project history (including issue comments and FP/WF markings).
Your steps, then, are to simply change sonar.host.url in your CI jobs and make sure sonar.organization is specified. And then analyze.
