Move project from one organization to another

Hello, I’ve looked through similar topics but found no comprehensive and up-to-date response about moving the project.

So we are moving a project between 2 SonarCoud organizations, and I saw that the project key could be updated to move the project to another organization. Can this be done?

Also, we need to keep historical data somehow for audit purposes. I found no way to back this up with current functionality - if there’s a button to do that.

Hey there.

Today, it’s not possible to migrate a project to another organization without losing history. As documented, you must reimport the project in the new organization and start from scratch. You may want to add your voice on this roadmap item.
