Hello dear C and C++ users
Here are some new great features for you:
- You can now directly import Cobertura coverage files for C and C++ projects. They are especially useful if you use OpenCppCoverage. No need to convert such files to the generic coverage format anymore!
- You can detect more tricky bugs
- One new great rule: S6655: Variables should not be accessed outside of their scope
- Improved detection capability for rule: S5553: Immediately dangling references and pointers should not be created
These new features will be available with SonarQube 10.2 starting from Developer Edition. They will be available shortly on SonarCloud and soon on SonarLint.
As always, you can see what’s coming next and vote for C and C++ features you would like to see in SonarQube , SonarCloud , and SonarLint .
Cheers
