Monorepo support for GitHub

Hello GitHub users,

We are very happy to announce that we added monorepo support for GitHub repositories. From now on you will be able to have:

  • An easy way to create and update monorepo configurations in SonarCloud
  • A GitHub check per project that was analyzed
  • Up-to-date summary comments on your PR from each project that was analyzed

There is a new link “Setup a monorepo” on the Analyze Projects page that will take you to the new configuration page.

Please take a look at the documentation for more details about this setup.

This is fantastic news, when will it be arriving in SonarQube (on-prem) - hoping 8.4?

Thanks, Sam

Hello Sam,

It won’t be part of SonarQube 8.4 which should be released very shortly, but it’s the roadmap.

Chris

Hi,
That’s a really good news.
What’s the plan for Bitbucket cloud? Could we have that too please?
Thanks, Valery

Yeap, it would be great to have this monorepo feature integrated with Bitbucket cloud… looking forward to it!

+1 On the Bitbucket cloud integration pretty please

+1 on monorepo and bitbucket

Please consider bitbucket could integration too, thanks!

Thank you @Chris ! Do you happen to have a ball-park approximation on dates for release 8.7?
Cheers and thanks again,
Diego
