Monitoring metrics for sonarqube

Hello,

Is there anyone out there who is monitoring metrics for sonarqube?
If so, I would like to get your advice on what metrics you are monitoring.
(For example, java heap monitoring.)

Although currently we are monitoring whether sonarqube responds to http requests, We are not monitoring metrics on the resource side.
It would be helpful if you could advise me if I should be monitoring metrics in general.

Welcome to the community!

Your version is past EOL. You should upgrade to either the latest version or the current LTS at your earliest convenience. Your upgrade path is:

7.9.6 → 8.9.10 → 9.9

You may find the Upgrade Guide and the LTS-to-LTS Upgrade Notes for 7.9 to 8.9, as well as the LTS to LTS release upgrade notes for 8.9 to 9.9 helpful. If you have questions about upgrading, feel free to open a new thread for that here.

This doesn’t directly answer your question, but once you’ve upgraded, you’ll find there’s an officially supported Helm chart with support for Prometheus monitoring.
