Licensing issue in Azure DevOps Prepare Anaysis Task is generating an error

Hello I am currently using the SonarQube scanner in Azure Devops to run scans on our pipelines
and am running into an error that I think has appeared before - licensing issue in Azure DevOps Prepare Anaysis Configuration is not fixed.

This issue was previously mentioned - The licensing issue in Azure DevOps Prepare Analysis Configuration is not fixed in 4.17.0

I am running v4.24 of the Prepare Sonarqube Analysis task with SonarScanner for MSBuild v5.3.2

The problem also occurs in v5.0.0 of the Prepare Sonarqube Analysis task

This problem started occuring after the task was automatically updated by Azure DevOps around October 4th.

Please excuse me if this is not the right place to raise this issue. Wanted to find out if anyone else reported this recently. Would appreciate any help and insight. Thank you in advance.

Must-share information (formatted with Markdown):

  • which versions are you using (SonarQube, Scanner, Plugin, and any relevant extension)
  • what are you trying to achieve
  • what have you tried so far to achieve this

Hi,

Does this help?

Ann

Hi Ann, thank you for this information. It may help. I seem to recall that the licensing issue was fixed in version 5.0.3 of the SonarScanner for .NET, so if the 9.2 version of SQ incorporates this fix, I should be good. Is there a date yet for the v9.2 release?

Current E.T.A. is 22 Nov.
