Issue caused by "Git Integration for Jira"

Hi,

we are using the “Git Integration for Jira” to create branches and merge requests.

No we observed an issue, which is said to be created by the bot user of this integration. As this bot user only created the branch but did not change anything, I wonder how it could create an issue?

We are using SonarQube Server 2025.4.2.

Hi Carsten,

I think this is closely related to your other thread. I.E.

  • newly created rule → new issue
  • (potentially) missing blame data → no backdating and also not knowing whom else to blame (pun intended :joy:)

Since these things seem right now to overlap so closely, let’s focus on the other thread and come back to this one only if necessary.
