Is there a way to filter the response fields from the API api/issues/search

We are using SQ 9.6 enterprise edition, and i will like to filter & display only selected fields from an API say api/issues/search like component, project, author, severity

I have tried including select & fields as an filter with the api but of no help, can someone please help on this

While you can query additionalFields (specifically for GET api/issue/search) to be returned, you can’t limit the fields returned in a response. In any post-processing you do of the data – that’s when you should weed out the irrelevant details and just grab what you need.
