Is it possible to import Github repositories with the Community Edition of SonarQube?

Must-share information:

  • which versions are you using:

    • SonarQube: Community Edition - Version 9.3 (build 51899)
  • what are you trying to achieve
I am trying to import my Github repositories in Sonarqube as described in the docs using the community version of SonarQube 9.3.

  • what have you tried so far to achieve this
I followed steps 1, 2 and 3 of the documentation Importing your GitHub repositories to SonarQube and managed to create and install a Github App in my Github organization. However when I click the button “Check configuration” for one repository in this Github organization, I get the following error:

You have the following errors in your configuration:

No token could be found with access to the requested repository using the given application ID and key

I made sure that the Github application has access to this particular repository.

Is the Devops Integration with Github possible with the Community Edition of SonarQube?

Hippolyte V.

Hi Hippolyte,

Yes, this is absolutely possible! Can you double-check your configuration?

CyberHippo, Were you able to work around this issue?
I started getting it and couldn’t resolve it.
