I’m currently working on a project where I migrated the Azure source code to Bitbucket. I’ve successfully integrated SonarCloud with Azure, and now I’m trying to add a Bitbucket organization.
However, when attempting to create an organization account and choosing the option to “Import a team from Bitbucket,” I encounter the following message: “You can only install for a team. You must be an admin for a team to install SonarCloud. Create a team or contact your team admin to begin installation.”
Despite having admin access, I’m still unable to proceed.
Is there we need to purchase separate paid plan for two different private organization? Has anyone encountered a similar issue or does anyone have insights on how to resolve this? Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Unfortunately, it’s currently not possible to unbind an organization and bind it to something else. You can vote for adding this feature here.
The only way to have your organization bound to a different DevOps Platform currently is to create a new organization and re-import your repositories there. Unfortunately, that means you’ll lose the results of previous analyses on these projects.
If you have a yearly subscription for your current organization, a new coupon can be issued for your new organization by reaching out to your sale representative.
If you have a monthly subscription by credit card, you can simply stop your subscription on the old organization and re-subscribe on the new one.
