How long does it take to get a license?

I’ve ordered a trial key for the developer edition, switched off my community instance and configured developer edition.

Of course I can’t do any analysis until I get a trial key it seems, how long does it take? I requested the trial key >12 hours ago.

Also, why can’t I just purchase a licence directly?
