Hi,

this is a network problem.

use proxysettings via cli userproperties, i.e.

-Dhttps.proxyHost=xxx -Dhttps.proxyPort=xxxxx -Dhttp.nonProxyHosts=*.com.foo.bar -Dhttp.socket.timeout=240000 -Dsonar.ws.timeout=600

the default sonar.ws.timeout = 300 = 5 min

as i wrote, it’s a network problem.
You need to tackle this with your network team
If proxies involved ask them for the details = proxyHost, proxyPort
They may also trace the connections.

Don’t think so, as there is no typical ssl exception like

sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path validation failed
javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException

but if its possible to connect with non proxy?

Means there are no proxies ?
At least a reverse proxy is required for https.
There are known issues like the url length setting when using IIS as reverse proxy.

Has the connection ever worked at all ?

Currently the proxy is in forward proxy.
