Extend the description of SonarCloud Security Hotspots

Hello,

For some issues on SonarCloud we have the option to expand the description when the More Info tab is available.

It doesn’t seem to be possible to do this with Security Hotspots, are there any plans to do so?

Weirdly, this limitation doesn’t appear on SonarQube (10.5), so I don’t think this was on purpose, I think we just forgot to put the button (I could be wrong). This is a rarely used feature of either SonarQube or SonarCloud.

I’ll flag it for attention and see if we can figure out what happened here.

Thanks for reporting this. We looked into it, and indeed, it makes sense to allow extending the security hotspot descriptions. We opened an issue for that, and it will be treated and prioritized accordingly.
