Exploring Pagination in V2 APIs

I was exploring the V2 APIs I have question related to pagination and sorting,

In Projects API there is pagination support but there is no support for sorting

In Organizations and SCA API there is no support for both.

Checked V1 APIs, mostly endpoints have pagination and sorting supported, why v2 not have same functionaloty

Could you share the use case that would call for paginating organizations?
