EOL Warning in SonarQube Server 2025.2.0 and 2025.3.0

Hello Sonar Community,

We want to inform users running SonarQube Server 2025.2.0 or 2025.3.0 in air-gapped environments that you may see an End-of-Life (EOL) warning in the UI starting July 1st. Please note that at this time, this warning is caused by a bug and does not accurately reflect the actual support status of your SonarQube version.

To clarify:

  • SonarQube Server 2025.2.0 remains an active version until the release of SonarQube Server 2025.4.0.
  • SonarQube Server 2025.3.0 remains an active version until the release of SonarQube Server 2025.5.0.

This issue has been fixed in SonarQube 2025.3.1, which is now available:

We strongly recommend upgrading to 2025.3.1 to resolve this incorrect warning and to benefit from the latest improvements and fixes.

Hey @albert!

Are you sure you aren’t seeing a notification alerting you to upgrade to the latest patch version (v2025.1.2)? This is different than a version no longer being an active version.

Sorry @Colin, my current version of Sonarqube is v2025.1.2.
My question is whether that version is also affected by the EOL notice.

No. Only 2025.3.0 is affected.
