Hello,

I got this page where i can see the list of rules available for each languages.
https://rules.sonarsource.com/c/

Will you please help me out with downloading this rules list (probably in EXCEL / CSV format) .

I’m aware of using REST API in sonarqube.
But just this information needs to be downloaded from the URL mentioned above.

Hi,

The goal of https://rules.sonarsource.com is to let people discover SonarSource offering in terms of static code analysis rules, and see which of SonarSource products implements those rules. There really is no plan to add any export capability there.

You haven’t explained why do you need to download the rules list in a CSV format, so it’s hard to give suggestions that would best fit your use-case. Feel free to clarify that.

Hi,

I have the same demand. But I can explain why I need to export certain rules :slight_smile: .
I would like to know which of the SEI CERT rules are covered by SonarQube checks.

So I could do it by extracting the rules and the associated “See” section.

I could not find a “coverage matrix” of the SEI CERT for C, CPP and Java. Does it exist ?
The SEI CERT website is not always maintained so I guess Sonar maintain the list of covered rules.
