Downgrade from 8.5 to 7.9 LTS

Hi,

we have currently installed SonarQube 8.5. We recently made an upgrade from 7.9 LTS. But later we saw that SonarCXX doesn’t support SonarQube 8.5 at the moment (https://github.com/SonarOpenCommunity/sonar-cxx).

Now we want to downgrade back to 7.9 LTS. Is this possible? How easy is it?

Your only option is to restore from a backup of your v7.9 LTS database – SonarQube upgrades are one way.
