sonarlint.org is the go-to resources to check supported languages, and I can only confirm that Scala is not supported in SonarLint for IntelliJ nor SonarLint for Eclipse.
I have absolutely no idea how how that StackOverflow user got issues in Scala code, and do wonder whether it was truly SonarLint reporting those issues.
