[Developer edition] Change main branch of a project?

Hello

we would like to have the ability to change the Main Branch of a SonarQube project.

For now, you have to rename the branch, so if you want to make an already analysed branch the main branch it is not straighforward.

It should be as easy as a tick box into the “branches & PR” panel of a projet.

Is there any ETA for https://jira.sonarsource.com/browse/SONAR-11949 ?

Hi,
There’s no ETA right now for it but we have been taken steps that were needed for this ticket. It will probably miss v8.4 but should come soon after it.
